Poe Tyler


Poe has over 18 years of experience in the wastewater field including design, construction, start-up and operations of water, wastewater, renewable energy and bio-solids treatment facilities.

He graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY with a B.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, and a Masters of Engineering in Biological and Environmental Engineering, also from Cornell. Poe began his career with Synagro in the Engineering and Facilities Development group on design build contracts working from the 60% design phase through start-up and ongoing operations.

He is a licensed Wastewater Treatment Operator in the state of Colorado. Poe has been with WSI for 12 years and continues to pursue excellence in design, manufacturing and execution of challenging wastewater treatment projects with the group at WSI.

Sean Fields

Vice President of Sales

Sean is a dynamic, results-oriented Senior Design Engineer and is highly regarded for 10+ years of progressive experience in wastewater plant design, control logic, and industrial automation for industry leaders.

Sean offers a proven track record of assessing client needs and delivering fitting solutions to increase productivity and efficiency in competitive markets. Additionally, he is respected as a motivational, influential leader and collaborator who guides team members in achieving consistent on-time, under-budget project completion while exceeding client expectations. Sean builds and maintains lasting relationships with colleagues and clients driving company objectives through a people-focused approach. He is an out-of-the-box thinker and is committed to making continuous process and infrastructure improvement to enable growth.

Sean possesses exemplary educational qualifications including Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Courses from the University of Texas and Information Technology Courses from Colorado State University to support his extensive experience.

Ben Garcia

Lead Mechanical Engineer

I am currently the lead mechanical engineer that is overseeing many won projects at WSI. At WSI, we provide a varied product offering for water and wastewater treatment including design/build, packaged plants, design engineering, and project management

Being a small company I have fulfill many roles such lead mechanical engineer, design engineer, project manager, vendor contact, and as a point of contact for the customer. I have also assembled, inspected, installed many project over the course of my career at WSI as well as creating a training program for new operators on WSI equipment.

I also have experience in creating, reading, and assimilating new equipment P&ID's into our product offering. While in the field I have had to troubleshoot VFD's and other electrical equipment within the control panel by understanding electrical schematics to locate the faulty equipment. For every project that I have been involved on, a sequence of operation as well as an O&M has been provided to the vendor and/or the customer to assist them with gaining familiarity with the equipment. 

Randy Leander

Senior Project Manager

Randy has been working in the Manufacturing and Wastewater Industries for over 35 years.  He worked for the City of Aurora, Colorado Utilities Department from 1980 to 1993, and then earned his BA in Industrial Design from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 1996.  Since then, Randy has worked for Engineering and Manufacturing companies in many capacities – Estimator, designer, project manager, purchasing agent, production supervisor, QA inspector, and even machinist.  He is currently Senior Project Manager here at WSI International where he has worked since 2012.  He lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his wife of 33 years and 18 year old daughter.
